Overview:
Because free email services such as @yahoo, @hotmail, and @outlook are often used by malicious parties to generate SPAM messages, client emails can sometimes be mistakenly flagged as SPAM when emailing your school (ex. location@schoolofrock.com).
Here are the steps to ensure messages from your clients are not being flagged:
Go to https://groups.google.com/ and sign-in with your School of Rock account.
Select your school group from the list (ex. location@schoolofrock.com).
On the left menu select 'pending'.
Here you will see a list of messages which have been flagged as possible SPAM.
To approve a sender, check the box to select the message and then select the option to 'post and always allow future messages from author'.
Messages from this sender will not be flagged going forward.
Likewise, you can report messages that are SPAM by selecting the option to 'report spam and ban author from this forum'.
We recommend regularly checking this section to ensure client emails are not being flagged.
